Catherine Shiells

She worked as a private maths tutor for a number of years before coming to Mattersey Hall where she completed a Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies, followed by a Masters in Biblical Studies.

Beginning work at the National Ministry Centre for the Assemblies of God GB as a finance assistant in 2013, Catherine is now the Director of Studies at Mattersey Hall, overseeing the academic admin and lecturing in New Testament Greek and New Testament Studies.

She is currently involved in discipleship at St Nicholas’ Church, Bawtry and serves in this area by leading a Bible study group and alpha course with her husband. Catherine and Alex married in 2016 and live with Kasper and Charlie (cat and dog) in Doncaster. Alex works as an intern in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham and is pursing ordination in the Church of England.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
